| Obverse description | Bare or laureate head of Augustus facing right, rendered in the Hellenistic-Egyptian provincial style. The portrait displays the characteristic Augustan facial features with a strong jawline and short, layered hair. The Greek legend ΠΑΤΗΡ ΠΑΤΡΙΔΟΣ (Father of the Fatherland) surrounds the effigy in the field. The flan is irregular, typical of Alexandrian provincial bronze coinage of this period. |
