Reverse description Two confronted laureate busts facing one another, identified as Gaius and Lucius Caesar, the adopted grandsons and heirs of Augustus, depicted in the manner common to Julio-Claudian dynastic coinage of the eastern provinces. The busts are rendered in low relief on an irregular flan. The Greek legend surrounds the design field, repeating the dedicatory inscription of the obverse.
