Reverse description Tetrastyle temple depicted in elevation, its four columns framing a cult statue of the emperor Augustus standing within the cella, his right hand resting upon a spear. The architectural rendering is consistent with the depiction of the Augustan imperial cult temple at Pergamum, rendered in the flat, schematic style typical of provincial civic bronzes of the early Imperial period. The surrounding legend reads ΣΕΒΑΣΤΟΝ ΔΗΜΟΦΩΝ, citing the dedicatory or magistrate name Dêmophôn alongside the imperial title Sebastos. The design reflects Pergamum's prominent role as a centre of the imperial cult in the province of Asia.
