Obverse description Draped bust of Sarapis facing right, wearing the distinctive modius (kalathos) atop his head, a hallmark of his syncretic Graeco-Egyptian iconography. The portrait is rendered in the provincial style typical of Asia Minor civic bronzes of the Antonine period. The Greek legend ΚΟΛΟϹϹΗΝΩΝ arcs around the bust in the field, identifying the issuing civic authority. The surface displays a warm olive-brown patina consistent with long burial, with some areas of brighter metallic relief.
