| Obverse description | Laureate and draped bust of Emperor Antoninus Pius facing right, rendered in the Roman provincial style typical of Corinthian colonial coinage. The portrait displays the characteristic bearded effigy of the emperor with a laurel wreath crowning the head. The legend ANTONINVS AVG PIVS encircles the bust along the periphery of the flan. The die work reflects the competent but somewhat provincial engraving standards of the Corinthian mint during the Antonine period. |

| Reverse description | Tetrastyle temple of Venus-Aphrodite depicted atop the rocky summit of the Acrocorinthus, its four columns framing a cult statue of the goddess standing to the left and holding the shield of Mars-Ares before her as a mirror. The architectural rendering emphasizes the sacred topography of Corinth, with the celebrated hilltop sanctuary serving as the principal reverse type for this colonial issue. The colonial legend C L I COR appears in the field, with the letter R placed in the exergue below the composition. This imagery underscores the religious and civic identity of the Roman colony of Laus Iulia Corinthiensis. |
