| Obverse description | Bare laureate head of Emperor Antoninus Pius facing right, rendered in the provincial Greek style typical of Achaean civic coinage. The portrait occupies the central field, with a partially legible Greek legend running around the periphery, much of which is lost to flan damage and wear. The coin exhibits the irregular, somewhat crude striking characteristic of hammered municipal bronze issues of the Antonine period. |
