| Obverse description | Confronted busts of Thea Roma and the divine Senate (Θεός Συνκλητος): to the left, the turreted and draped bust of Roma faces right, while to the right the draped bust of the Senate faces left. The two personifications are rendered in typical provincial civic style, with the turreted mural crown of Roma clearly distinguishing her from the togated Senate. A continuous Greek legend encircles the opposing busts within the border of the flan. |
