Obverse description Laureate bust of Emperor Vespasian facing right, rendered in the provincial Alexandrian style. The imperial effigy is encircled by a Greek legend naming the emperor in the genitive case, running around the periphery of the flan. The portrait displays the characteristic features associated with Flavian dynastic coinage, with a wreath of laurel crowning the head. The flan is irregular, typical of Egyptian provincial bronze issues of this period.
