Obverse description Draped bust of Dionysus facing right, crowned with an ivy wreath, rendered in the Hellenistic provincial style. The bust is depicted with soft, youthful features characteristic of Dionysiac iconography. The encircling legend naming the local magistrate Flavius Isigonos runs around the periphery of the flan. The overall style is consistent with the civic bronze coinage of Sardis under the Flavian dynasty.

Reverse description Zeus standing left, draped, holding a long sceptre in his left hand and an eagle perched on his outstretched right hand. The figure is rendered in a stiff, frontal provincial style typical of Lydian civic bronze coinage. A monogram reading ϹΤΡΑ, abbreviating the title of the strategos, appears to the left of the figure in the field. The reverse legend naming the Sardians runs along the right periphery.
