Reverse description Dionysus standing left, his himation draped over his lower limbs and left shoulder, leaving the upper torso bare. In his extended right hand he holds a cantharus, while his left arm rests upon a thyrsus. The composition reflects the standard iconography of the god of wine as employed in provincial Asian bronze coinage of the Trajanic period. The Greek legend naming the city of the Hyrcanians and their strategos encircles the central type.
