Obverse description Radiate, draped bust of Emperor Trajan Decius facing right, the radiate crown rendered with prominent spikes. Traces of paludamentum visible at the shoulder. A beaded border runs along the coin's irregular flan edge. The Greek legend is partially legible around the bust, with the abbreviated imperial titulature disposed in the field. The portrait style is consistent with provincial Mesopotamian workshop production of the mid-third century.
