| Beschrijving keerzijde | Two standing figures facing one another in a dextrarum iunctio (handshake) scene: at left, a figure dressed in a tunic and military cloak, and at right, a togate figure, both rendered in the provincial Greek style. This composition symbolises the alliance or homonoia between the city of Hypaepa and the Sardians. The figures stand in the open field with the Greek legend distributed around them, naming the magistrate Sakodas. The strike is slightly off-centre but the principal design elements are clearly legible. |
