| 背面描述 | Artemis standing facing with head turned to the right, depicted in her role as divine huntress. Her right hand reaches over the shoulder to draw an arrow from the quiver on her back, while her left hand holds a bow. The figure is rendered in the conventional provincial bronze style of Asia Minor under the Severan dynasty. The Greek civic legend ΜΑΡΚΟϹ ΤΗΜΕΝΟΘΥΡΕΥϹΙ is inscribed around the reverse field, naming the magistrate Marcus as responsible for the issue. |

Temenothyrae was a small Lydian city whose civic coinage under Severus Alexander reflects the administrative reach of the Sardis conventus — one of the judicial districts through which Rome managed the provincia of Asia. These minor civic bronzes were produced locally for local exchange, and the city's output under this emperor is sparse enough that individual die studies remain incomplete.
