| Obverse description | Draped bust of Athena facing right, helmeted and wearing the aegis across the chest, rendered in the provincial Greek style typical of Asia Minor civic coinage. The helmet is of Corinthian type, and the aegis is depicted with characteristic scalloped border. A beaded border runs along the coin's periphery. The ethnic legend ϹΙΛΑΝΔΕΩΝ is disposed around the bust in the field. |
