| Obverse description | Bare head of Nero facing right, rendered in the Hellenistic provincial style with youthful features. The portrait is set within a circular flan with the Greek legend encircling the effigy. The neck is clearly articulated, and the overall style is consistent with early Neronian provincial coinage from Ionia. The surrounding legend reads ΝΕΡΩΝΑ ΣΕΒΑΣΤΟΝ in Greek characters. |
