| Obverse description | Laureate and bearded bust of Lucius Verus, draped and cuirassed, facing right, with the paludamentum visible over the left shoulder. The effigy displays the characteristic full beard and curled hair of Verus rendered in the Antonine provincial style. The encircling Greek legend reads ΑΥΤ ΚΑΙ ΑΡΜ Λ ΑΥΡ ΟΥΗΡΟϹ, identifying the emperor by his imperial titles and name. The portrait is set within the field of a slightly irregular flan typical of provincial bronze coinage. |
