Obverse description Draped bust of Empress Sabina facing right, her hair elaborately coiffed and bound, rendered in the provincial style typical of Lydian civic coinage. The Greek legend ϹΑΒΕΙΝΑ ϹΕΒΑϹΤΗ runs around the periphery of the field, identifying the empress as Augusta. The portraiture, though worn, reflects the idealized court imagery of the Hadrianic period as transmitted to local provincial die-cutters.

Reverse description Frontal standing cult statue of Artemis Ephesia (Ephesian Artemis) depicted in the canonical xoanon form, rigid and hieratic, with multiple rows of oval protuberances on the chest, arms extended horizontally and supported by lateral props or stags, and lower body sheathed in a tight ornamental garment adorned with registers of relief decoration. The statue is flanked by the civic ethnic legend ΚΑΔΟΗΝΩΝ in the field. The type closely follows the well-known Ephesian cult image as reproduced across numerous civic bronzes of western Asia Minor during the Imperial period.
