| Obverse description | Bare-headed bust of the emperor Hadrian facing right, rendered in the provincial Greek style typical of Lydian civic coinage. The portrait displays the emperor's characteristic short beard and naturalistic facial features. The surrounding legend reads ΑΥ ΚΑΙ ΤΡΑΙ ΑΔΡΙΑΝΟϹ, identifying him as Autocrator Caesar Trajanus Hadrianus. The flan is irregular, as is common for provincial bronze coinage of the period. |
