| Obverse description | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Elagabalus facing right, seen from the rear, with paludamentum visible over the left shoulder. The effigy is rendered in the provincial style characteristic of the Mysian mint of Hadrianeia. The Greek legend ΑΝΤΩΝΕΙΝΟϹ encircles the bust within a beaded border. |
