| Obverse lettering | ΙΟΥΛΙΑ ΠΑΥΛΑ ϹΕ |
| Reverse description | The inscription ΑΚΤΙΑ appears in two lines within the field, enclosed by a reed or laurel wreath tied at the base. The wreath is a reference to the Actia, the prestigious quadrennial games celebrated at Nicopolis in honour of Apollo, originally established or refounded by Augustus to commemorate his victory at the Battle of Actium. The overall composition is simple and typical of small Epirote civic bronze issues. |
