Obverse description Radiate bust of Emperor Domitian facing right, depicted with radiate crown, the effigy rendered in the provincial Greek style typical of Bithynian civic coinage. The encircling legend in Greek characters identifies the emperor with his full imperial titulature. The portrait exhibits the broad-shouldered, draped treatment characteristic of eastern provincial workshops of the Flavian period.
