| Obverse description | Laureate head of Domitian facing right, wearing an aegis on the shoulder, rendered in the imperial portrait style characteristic of the Flavian period. The emperor's features are depicted with the characteristic short hair and strong profile of Domitian's official iconography. The encircling legend runs around the bust within the coin's field. The flan is somewhat irregular, as typical of provincial bronze coinage of this period. |
