| Descrição do reverso | Turreted and veiled bust of Tyche, the city goddess of Carrhae, facing right, adorned with a mural crown of multiple turrets symbolising the city's fortifications. A veil falls behind the head in the manner conventional for divine personifications on provincial coinage. The encircling legend, partially preserved, reads COI MET ANTO-NINIANA A[VR ALEX], identifying the colonial metropolis under the Antoninian and Aurelian Alexandrian designation. The engraving reflects the local provincial workshop style of Mesopotamia under Severan imperial authority. |
