Reverse description Standing figures of Germanicus and Agrippina the Elder depicted in a dynastic group composition. Germanicus stands facing, clad in a toga with his head veiled (capite velato), holding a patera in his extended right hand in a gesture of sacrificial offering. Behind him stands Agrippina, rendered in the guise of Demeter, presenting ears of grain in one hand and a long sceptre in the other, emphasising her role as a symbol of abundance and dynastic piety. Abbreviated legends naming both figures appear in the field.
