Obverse description Bare-headed and laureate bust of Antoninus Pius, with traces of drapery visible at the shoulder truncation, facing right. The emperor is portrayed with characteristic beard and idealized imperial features in the provincial Greek style. The encircling Greek legend runs around the periphery of the flan. The flan is slightly irregular, consistent with hand-struck provincial coinage of the period.
