Obverse description Bare head of Emperor Antoninus Pius facing right, rendered in profile with naturalistic portraiture typical of Antonine provincial coinage. The effigy displays the emperor's characteristic features — a broad face with a short beard — executed in low relief. A Greek imperial titulature legend runs around the periphery of the flan, partially legible due to heavy surface encrustation. The flan is irregular and somewhat worn, with patches of green and brown patina obscuring fine die details.
