| Obverse description | Bare head of the emperor Antoninus Pius facing right, rendered in the typical provincial die-cutting style of the Pergamene conventus. The portrait displays short curling hair and a short beard, characteristic of the emperor's mature iconography. A partially legible Greek imperial titulature legend runs along the upper and right periphery of the flan, partially off-flan due to the irregular planchet. The overall style is consistent with civic bronze coinage of Asia Minor from the mid-second century AD. |
