| Obverse description | Laureate head of Emperor Trajan facing right, with finely rendered laurel wreath and slight drapery visible at the truncation. The portrait displays the characteristic features of Trajanic imperial coinage from the Alexandrian mint, rendered in a provincial style. A partial Greek legend runs along the periphery of the irregular flan. The dotted border is visible along the coin's edge. |

| Reverse description | Central motif of a wicker kalathos (basket) filled with poppies and ears of grain, its latticed body rendered in crisp relief typical of Alexandrian bronze coinage. A lighted torch stands upright to either side of the kalathos, their shafts flanking the central device. The regnal date legend L Κ (year 20) is placed in the field, with L to the left and Κ to the right of the central type. The composition is set within a dotted border on an irregular flan. |
