| 裏面の説明 | A hawk standing to the right, depicted in the Horus falcon tradition of Alexandrian coinage, with wings folded and tail visible at the base. The regnal date legend L ΙΑ (Year 11) appears in the field to the left of the bird, identifying the issue to the eleventh year of Trajan's reign. The reverse type reflects the enduring influence of Egyptian religious iconography on Alexandrian provincial coinage under Roman rule. |

Year 11 of Trajan's reign in Egypt — the dating system used under Roman Alexandria ran from the emperor's accession, not Rome's calendar — places this issue squarely within the period of the Dacian Wars' aftermath, when Trajan's eastern administrative attention was beginning to shift toward the coming Parthian campaign. Alexandrian bronze of this module circulated almost exclusively within Egypt; Roman provincial bronzes were not interchangeable across regions, and Egyptian coinage was legally quarantined within the province under a closed currency system enforced since the Ptolemaic period.
