Obverse description Radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Trajan Decius facing right, depicted three-quarter from the rear, with the radiate crown clearly rendered in relief. The emperor's military dress, including the cuirass and paludamentum, is delineated with characteristic provincial die-cutting. The surrounding Greek legend runs along the coin's border in the field, partially obscured by die wear and irregular flan edges.
