| Obverse description | Bare-headed, draped and cuirassed bust of Geta as Caesar facing right, seen from the rear, presented in the provincial Greek style typical of Ephesian coinage of the Severan period. The obverse legend, partially visible around the bust, identifies the subject as Lucius Septimius Geta Caesar. The portrait displays the characteristic short hair and youthful features of Geta, with the drapery and cuirass rendered in low relief. The flan is irregular, consistent with local provincial hammered production. |
