Reverse description Asclepius, the god of medicine, depicted standing facing with head turned to the left, clad in a himation draped about the lower body, his right hand resting upon the serpent-entwined staff (kerykeion of Asclepius). The civic ethnic legend of the issuing community of Acrasus is disposed around the field. The reverse exhibits traces of red earthen deposits beneath the patina, with the standing figure of the deity remaining discernible despite surface wear.
