Obverse description Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Geta facing right, rendered three-quarter from the rear, displaying the paludamentum fastened at the shoulder. The imperial effigy is rendered in the provincial style typical of Aegaean civic coinage of the Severan period. The surrounding Greek legend is partially visible around the field, interrupted by the irregular flan edge. The bold, somewhat schematic portraiture is characteristic of the local mint's engraving tradition.
