Obverse description Draped bust of Otacilia Severa, wife of Philip I, facing right, with diadem encircling her elaborately coiffed hair. The portrait follows the conventional Severan-era provincial style, with the empress rendered in three-quarter view showing drapery over the shoulder. The obverse legend runs around the periphery of the flan, partially visible due to the irregular striking. The surface retains an olive-green patina consistent with prolonged burial.
