Reverse description Apollo depicted nude, standing to the right, leaning with his left arm upon a tall candelabrum or tripod support, while holding an arrow in his extended right hand. The figure is rendered in the Hellenistic tradition typical of civic bronzes from Bithynia and the Conventus of Cyzicus. The ethnic legend of the issuing city is disposed around the field in two segments. The composition reflects the city's devotion to Apollo as a civic deity.
