| Reverse description | Two Dioscuri (Castor and Pollux) standing facing, their heads turned inward toward each other, each holding a long spear; a horse stands to either side of the pair, flanking the central group. The composition is symmetrical and reflects a well-established Hellenistic civic type associated with cities of the Troad and nearby regions. A partial Greek legend identifying the issuing city of Abydus appears along the border, partially preserved. |
