| Obverse description | Bare head of Zeus Akraios facing right, rendered in the provincial Greek style characteristic of Smyrnaean civic coinage. The deity's features display a mature, bearded visage with wavy hair. The Greek legend ΖΕΥϹ ΑΚΡΑΙΟϹ is inscribed in the field, with the Zeta presented in reversed form, a known epigraphic peculiarity of this issue.
