| Obverse description | Bare head of Antinous facing right, rendered in the idealized Hellenistic portrait style characteristic of his posthumous heroic cult imagery. The youthful effigy displays the distinctive full features and slightly wavy hair associated with canonical representations of Antinous. The Greek legend ΗΡΩϹ ΑΝΤΙΝΟΟϹ appears in the field, identifying the subject as the deified hero. The flan is irregular and the surfaces show typical wear consistent with provincial bronze coinage of the Hadrianic period. |

| Reverse description | An eagle standing to the right with head turned back to the left, rendered in a bold, schematic style typical of provincial Greek bronzes of the imperial period. The bird is depicted with wings closed and tail feathers visible, set within a circular laurel wreath that frames the entire reverse field. The dedicatory legend Ο ΙΕΡΕΥϹ ΑΡΙϹΤΟΤΙΜΟϹ ΑΝΕΘΗΚΕ is distributed around or within the wreath, recording that the Delphic priest Aristotimos dedicated this issue. The composition reflects the religious and civic authority of the local priesthood at Delphi under Hadrian. |
