She holds an upraised torch in each hand, her garments rendered with fluid folds characteristic of provincial Roman die-engraving. A turreted or crescent element appears above her head, consistent with her lunar associations. The reverse field carries the abbreviated colonial legend, and the composition is framed by a beaded border. The design reflects the strong local veneration of Artemis at the colony of Parium.
