| Beschrijving keerzijde | A Capricorn — the zodiacal emblem associated with Augustus and adopted by the Julio-Claudian dynasty — depicted facing left, with a cornucopia rising from its back, symbolising imperial prosperity and divine favour. A monogram incorporating the letters ΡΚ (?) appears to the left in the field. The surrounding Greek legend, arranged in multiple lines across the reverse field, identifies the local magistrate responsible for the issue. The overall composition is characteristic of civic bronze coinage struck in the cities of the Sardis conventus during the reign of Caligula. |
