Obverse description Bare-headed portrait bust of Emperor Caligula (Gaius Caesar) facing right, rendered in the provincial Greek style with naturalistic facial features and short curled hair. The legend ΓΑΙΟϹ ΚΑΙϹΑΡ is disposed around the field, identifying the emperor.
