Obverse description Bare laureate head of Augustus facing right, rendered in the Hellenistic-Egyptian provincial style typical of Alexandrian coinage. The portrait displays the characteristic features of Augustus, with the laurel wreath clearly delineated around the brow. The flan is irregular and the surfaces show typical wear consistent with circulated provincial bronze coinage. No legend is present on this face.
