Reverse description Two confronted bulls' heads placed back to back at the centre of the field, a well-known civic badge of Abydus referencing the city's mythological and commercial identity. The heads are rendered facing outward in opposite directions, with visible horns above. The ethnic legend ΑΒΥΔΗ is inscribed in the lower exergual area beneath the type, within a dotted border visible along the upper periphery.
