Tiberiopolis was a minor Lydian city whose civic coinage under Trajan represents one of the quieter corners of provincial bronze production — no substantial literary sources describe the town's administration during this period, and its coins survive in small numbers across collections. The city likely minted to facilitate local exchange within the Sardis conventus, one of the judicial districts through which Roman governors administered Asia Minor.
