Additional information

Antandrus was a minor coastal settlement in the Troad, historically overshadowed by its neighbors and never a significant mint. Under Trajan, the city issued a narrow range of small bronzes — likely produced for purely local exchange rather than any broader regional circulation. The conventus of Adramyteum grouped several such modest communities for Roman administrative purposes, but civic coinage from Antandrus remains among the rarest output from that grouping.
