| Reverse description | Tetrastyle or hexastyle temple facade depicted in three-quarter perspective, with six columns supporting an arched or triangular pediment ornamented with a pellet at its centre. Steps are visible at the base of the structure. The design is consistent with the representation of a local civic sanctuary at Prusa ad Olympum. The Greek civic legend ΠΡ-ΟΥ/ϹΑΕΩΝ, meaning 'of the Prusaeans', is distributed in the field and along the lower margin of the reverse. |
