| Obverse description | Bare-headed bust of Geta as Caesar to right, draped and cuirassed, depicted from the rear in the characteristic three-quarter back view. The obverse legend ΓΕΤΑϹ Κ arcs around the field, identifying the subject as Geta Caesar. The portrait displays the compact, youthful features typical of provincial bronze coinage from Heraclea Pontica under the Severan dynasty. The flan is irregular and slightly off-centre, consistent with hand-struck provincial issues of this period. |
