| Reverse description | A circular shield depicted in the central field, bearing a pentagram (five-pointed star) design in relief upon its face. The shield type is a distinctive civic emblem associated with Pitane. The encircling Greek legend naming the local magistrate Isidoros and the civic ethnic of the Pitaneans runs along the outer border of the reverse field. |

| Additional information |
Pitane, a coastal Aeolian city absorbed into the Roman provincial structure under the Pergamene conventus, struck only sporadically under the Julio-Claudians. The magistrate named in the legend — Eisidoros — is otherwise unattested in the epigraphic record, making this small bronze one of the few surviving traces of his tenure.
