| Obverse description | Bare-headed, bearded bust of Heracles facing right, depicted in the heroic tradition with characteristic leonine features. The legend ΕΠΙ ΦΙΛοΜΗΛοΥ, referencing the local magistrate Philomelos, runs around the periphery of the flan. The portrait is rendered in a provincial Greek style typical of Lydian civic coinage of the Antonine period. The flan is slightly irregular, consistent with hand-struck provincial bronze production. |
