Obverse description Bare head of Zeus Akraios facing right, rendered in the provincial Greek style with traces of drapery visible at the shoulder. The portrait displays characteristic mature features associated with the Smyrnaean cult image of Zeus Akraios. The encircling legend appears in Greek characters within the field, with the notable anomaly of a reversed Zeta. The flan is irregular and the surface heavily worn, consistent with extended circulation of a provincially struck bronze issue.
